TOOWOOMBA’S BUS NETWORK READY TO ROLL
Translink will launch the new Toowoomba bus network for the community on 19th June 2017.
Last year Translink called on the community to have their say on the proposed bus network review. Community feedback entailing seven community information sessions, 678 survey responses and 1,490 contacts has helped to shape our new network.
I have been advocating and fighting hard for an improved Toowoomba Bus Network since my election in 2012.
Top of my priority list was to make certain that the new network included the expansion of the service along Hogg Street, which I am pleased to see has been included as part of this new network.
I have been assured by Translink that the expansion to this service will be operational by the launch date 19th June 2017.
The soon to be launched Toowoomba Bus Network will help to deliver a better bus network for Toowoomba by providing more services, better reliability and improved connectivity for the residents of Toowoomba.
