LABOR HAVE FAILED TO ACT TO PROTECT OUR EMERGENCY SERVICE WORKERS
“Annastacia Palaszczuk and lazy Labor have failed to act to protect our emergency service workers.
“The LNP took a policy to the 2017 election for mandatory sentences for anyone who seriously assaults an emergency service worker like our ambulance officers and fire fighters.
“Under the LNP policy someone convicted of a serious assault of an emergency services worker will be sentenced to a minimum of seven days’ jail.
“Annastacia Palaszczuk should adopt the LNP’s policy of mandatory sentences for anyone who seriously assaults an emergency service worker.
“Labor needs to do more to protect our hardworking emergency service workers.
“The LNP is serious about protecting those who protect us.”
