Labor’s unemployment disaster hits Toowoomba hard

The Palaszczuk Labor Government’s job-destroying policies continue to hurt Toowoomba, with new figures revealing the full extent of the jobless crisis in the regions.

Data from the Australian Bureau of Statistics found 13,400 locals lost their job in the in past 12 months, the largest amount in Queensland. LNP Deputy Leader and Shadow Treasurer Tim Mander said thanks to Annastacia Palaszczuk, Queensland has the worst unemployment rate in the nation.

“After five years of Labor, we’ve become the jobless capital of Australia.

“Only the LNP will build a stronger economy and create more high-paying local jobs.”
