MEDIA STATEMENT: LNP Leader Tim Nicholls – Ostwald Bros

“This announcement has the potential to affect the livelihood of many employees and their families across regional Queensland.

“With that in mind, the LNP calls on the Palaszczuk Government not to terminate any government contracts with Ostwald Bros to ensure regional workforces are given every opportunity to finish projects.

“Labor must also ensure any government projects, including the Toowoomba Second Range Crossing, are not unduly delayed by the company’s voluntary administration.

“It’s important to avoid any knee-jerk reactions to prevent making a bad situation worse for the company, its employees and their families.”
