Trevor Watts MP welcomes Senator Barnaby Joyce to Toowoomba
Member for Toowoomba North Trevor Watts today has welcomed Queensland Senator and Nationals Leader in the Senate, Barnaby Joyce to Toowoomba as the special guest to the Toowoomba Mayoral Prayer Breakfast.
The Mayoral Prayer Breakfast is a community fundraiser that began in 1993 to raise money for drought relief. Since its beginning, various regional charities are the recipients of the accumulated $215,000.00 that has been raised over the years from this community event.
“Senator Joyce is best known as a conviction politician who will stand up for Regional Australia and for this it is fitting to welcome Barnaby Joyce to Toowoomba” Mr Watts said today.
